PERRY M. BERKE REPORTED CASES:
In addition to representing injured clients in a variety of jury trials,
Mr. Berke has been lead counsel or participating counsel in several consumer
class actions, such as Friedman v. The Krupp Company, 282 Ill. App.3d
436 (1996) ( a case of first impression in Illinois upholding the rights
of tenants against lessors who violated tenants' rights statute); Sampson
v. Eastman Kodak, 142 Ill. Dec. 453 (1990) (involving a class of over
3,000,000 consumers); and Leahy v. City of Chicago, 994 F.2d 333 (7th
Circ. 1993), (representing 7,000 chicago police officers in a Fair Labor
Standards Act case; Yamada v. Hilton Hotel Corp., 60 Ill. App. 3d 101,
376 N.E. 2d 227 (1978); Bezark v. Kostner Manor, Inc., 29 Ill. App. 2d
106 (1969)
